Silk Road New Journey · Women’s Strength: Our Debut at the China–Central Asia Trade Conference

At the China–Central Asia Trade Conference, Made-in-East.com made its debut alongside an unusual partner: the Nanjing Women’s Federation. Together we launched “Silk Road New Journey · Women’s Strength” — a program helping women-led brands establish a real presence in Central Asian markets.

The program

The first cohort focuses on three categories where women-led Chinese brands are strong and Central Asian demand is rising: cultural-creative products, specialty tea, and agricultural technology. Each brand receives a curated exhibition slot, Russian-language brand materials, and matchmaking with verified regional buyers and distributors.

First results

The conference produced pilot orders for two tea brands and distributor interest for a ceramics studio whose founder had never exported before. One agri-tech founder left with three scheduled follow-ups in Tashkent. Small numbers — and exactly how durable trade relationships start.

What’s next

  • A standing “Women’s Strength” pavilion on the platform with verified buyer access.
  • Quarterly matchmaking sessions co-hosted with the Federation.
  • Applications open for the second cohort — women-led manufacturers and brands in any export-ready category.

Trade corridors are built by the people who show up early. This program exists to make sure women-led businesses are among them.
