We have signed a strategic partnership with Freedom Cloud, Kazakhstan’s leading data-center operator. The agreement gives Made-in-East.com a true “digital base” in the country: local hosting for platform services and joint development of cross-border e-document recognition.
It is the least glamorous kind of news — infrastructure — and exactly the kind that changes what is possible for everyone on the platform.
What the partnership covers
Two workstreams. First, platform services used by Kazakh buyers will be hosted inside Kazakhstan, cutting page and agent response times dramatically. Second, we are co-developing recognition models for the documents that actually move trade: invoices, certificates of origin, customs declarations — in Russian, Kazakh and Chinese.
Why local infrastructure changes trust
Kazakh enterprises increasingly ask two questions before adopting a foreign platform: where is my data stored, and how fast does it respond? In-country hosting answers both. It also aligns with procurement rules that favor local data residency — opening doors to state-linked buyers that offshore platforms simply cannot enter.
The paperless trade roadmap
- Stage one: automatic recognition and translation of trade documents on upload.
- Stage two: digital contracts with bilingual templates recognized by both jurisdictions.
- Stage three: settlement integration so a verified document set can trigger payment release.
Every stage removes a scan, a courier envelope or a week of waiting. That is what “digital base” means in practice: trade that moves at the speed of the data, not the paperwork.
